September 2016 Meeting Re-Cap
Our very first meeting was a HUGE success!! Lots of new faces to MOPS-San Marcos, and we were SO happy to see each one of you!! We welcome you with open arms, and we look forward to getting "Starry-Eyed" with each of you this year!!
Each MOPS Momma went home with a full belly, a newletter, a magnet with meeting dates as well as 2 sparklers!! "Sparkle On", Mommas!
The meeting started off with an EXCEPTIONAL catered dinner by Newk's Eatery-San Marcos as well as Chick-Fil-A San Marcos! These dinners were AMAZING!! Please support these local businesses whenever you can, and mention that MOPS sent ya!
Next, our AMAZING guest speaker, Kristie Christie, spoke on "When Your Barbie Dream House has an Earthquake" as well as the importance of instilling EMPATHY in our children and she explained how she is very involved with Compassion International.
We are so grateful that she made the trek ALL THE WAY from California to come speak to US!
